As has been the case since 2002, we are once again excited to close out the year by hosting our final live CME event in conjunction with the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Joining us will be six renowned breast cancer investigators will serve as the faculty for the proposed activity, which will be divided into six topic modules each focused on emerging research within a distinct area of breast cancer management. Each module will feature a faculty-led presentation of emerging research as well as discussion of actual cases submitted by community-based clinicians in the weeks leading up to the program. Clinician attendees will be provided with networked iPads to complete a pre-meeting survey and to submit their own questions and cases to the faculty. We believe the proposed activity will blend together two primary tenets of continuing medical education — reviewing new data and exploring actual cases — to improve clinician competence and, in turn, the provision of high quality cancer care.
